It's Still Winter - February 25, 2013

Hello.

 

This week was about an average week since I emailed last Wednesday. Appointments falling through finding some good potential investigators, and a good Sunday in church.

 

We received a mormon.org referral (with which you should now be familiar with) on Friday. We went and contacted him on Saturday. His name is Nicholas. We knocked on his door, we said that we were missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We explained we were responding to a request from mormon.org. He had indeed requested us and we talked to him for about 10 minutes because we had to catch the bus. He is a guitarist and he tours with a few different bands all over the country. Really neat guy. We asked him how he found out about the website, and it turns out we gave him a card about a month ago and he actually looked up the website and requested us to come. That never happens! We've told other missionaries about it and they are super surprised! Really neat!
